Everything's A Bit Rusty and Dusty...

I'm sure I'm not the only one who's wondering where Summer went. Like many of you, I sighed quite a bit those last few days before school started back up. I enjoyed sleeping in (till 8 anyway), having a mostly unstructured day, and enjoying the sunshine while it lasted. Though, admittedly, a part of me was sort of looking forward to the start of a new year. Call me crazy, but as much as I sometimes feel like pulling my hair out, in general, I kinda enjoy being around all of you for awhile.

Go figure.

As I came in to set up shop again for another year, it surprised me how much I had forgotten over the Summer. Seriously! I had to look up all my old passwords, work out how to use the library system again, relearn how to fill out those purchase orders, and most of all, I had to try to remember all your names and faces again. Remember, there's only 1 of me, but there's 100+ of you that I have to remember, in addition to the new incoming grade. So, bear with me a bit as you come check out books and I squint at you for a few moments, maybe scratch my head, and then still guess the wrong name.

Also, there's dust....like...on every shelf.

I'm still working on that.
