In the link section of this blog, and also in a previous post, I've discussed our Overdrive account, and how you can check out e-books and audio books. Well, Overdrive has come out with a new app for your devices and computers, that's been a bit more streamlined and, in general, easier to use.

You can download it from the Apple App store or the Google Play, and also access it from your desktop and/or laptop as well.
It's extremely user friendly, and I highly recommend it over using tiesd.overdrive.com

I will reiterate this again: Overdrive is a fantastic way to check out books. It is completely independent of our system, and even myself. Check out's are all automated, and no one has access to see what books you are checking out. When your book is due back, the system will automatically return it for you, so there are 0 late fees ever. I highly suggest the audio books as well for those days when you might be on the road, or just plain don't want to READ, but you can listen. Books you've checked out are temporarily downloadable with the app, so you can listen to them offline as well.
Bonus: if you're a middle schooler and have to read those YARP books, they're all on there as well, and a number of them are in AUDIO format as well.
